Linc brings nearly 25 years’ experience as a practicing lawyer, both in private practice, where he is a partner today at Perkins Coie, and as Associate General Counsel and Managing Director at BNY Mellon. His career at BNY Mellow previously included oversight of a global team of 150 transactional lawyers and transaction managers. Linc has deep expertise in natural language processing and machine learning. While at BNY Mellon, he led the legal department’s machine learning group that ingested and classified over 1 million legal documents. This unique intersection of law and technology planted the seed for HummingbirdAI, and as an expert coder, Linc built the code that powers the platform. He is a graduate of New York University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from CUNY Baruch College, receiving his CPA shortly after graduation.
